National Centre for Agricultureal Mechnization (NCAM) is the only on-purpose built intervention agency of the Federal Government under the Presidency whose mandate include nurturing an appropriate and dynamic Science and Engineering infrastructure base for achieving home initiated and home sustained industrialization for Nigeria. The mandate of the Agency includes the development of relevant processes, capital goods and equipment necessary for job creation, national economic well-being and progress. The Agency took deliberate interest in key areas of science and engineering development because any nation that aspires to attain socio-economic transformation must definitely invest in them in order to engender competition.

Engr. Dr. Muideen Yomi Kasali

Executive DirectorEngr. Dr. Muideen Yomi Kasali was born on March 10th, 1961 at Ijebu Itele in Ijebu East local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. He attended St. Anthony’s Grammar School, Esure, Ijebu Imushin from 1973 – 1979 and obtained his West African school certificate in Grade 1. Engr. Dr. Muideen Yomi Kasali started his Engineering studies at the Nicolae Balcescu Institute of Agronomy, Bucharest Romania where he had his First degree in Land Reclamation (Soil and Water Engineering) in 1986. His undying quest for knowledge spurred him to obtain a Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of Ilorin in 2003, and a PhD in Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering from University of Ilorin in 2015. He has also attended several training courses both in Nigeria and abroad in Agricultural engineering field with specific interests in Land and Water Engineering.
